Global scientists from multiple institutions have collaborated to create the most detailed cross-species mammalian brain cell development atlas to date, providing unprecedented detailed reference for human understanding of the early formation process of the brain and the origin of neural developmental disorders. This groundbreaking work, covering a variety of mammals from mice to humans, reveals the key mechanisms of how brain cells appear, migrate, mature, and establish complex networks during development, marking a new stage in brain science research. The research results have been published in the form of 12 papers in the latest series of journals in Nature.
