The center of this year's 25th typhoon, "Seagull", was located at 5 am this morning in the southwestern South China Sea, approximately 440 kilometers east of Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province, Vietnam, at a position of 13.3 degrees north latitude and 113.3 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind force near the center is at level 15, with a minimum central pressure of 940 hectopascals. The radius of the 7th level wind circle is 300-350 kilometers, the 10th level wind circle is 150-160 kilometers, and the 12th level wind circle is 70 kilometers. It is expected that "Seagull" will move in a west-northwest direction at a speed of 25-30 kilometers per hour, maintaining or slightly strengthening in intensity. It is expected to make landfall in central Vietnam coastal areas on the 6th night, after which its intensity will gradually weaken. Wind forecast: From 8:00 am on the 6th to 8:00 am on the 7th, under the combined influence of "Seagull" and the cold air moving southward, the Taiwan Strait, Bashi Channel, most of the South China Sea, as well as the Paracel Islands, Spratly Islands, Macclesfield Bank, and the nearby surrounding seas will experience strong winds of level 6-8, gusts of level 9-10. Some areas in the western South China Sea will experience winds of level 9-11, gusts of level 12-13. The wind near the center of "Seagull" will reach levels of 12-16, gusts of level 17 or higher. Precipitation forecast: From 8:00 am on the 6th to 8:00 am on the 7th, there will be heavy rain in some areas in the southeastern part of Hainan Island.
