302 people have died from dengue fever in Bangladesh so far this year.

On November 5th local time, data released by the Bangladesh Health Service Directorate showed that as of 8 AM that day, there were 10 new deaths from dengue fever in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of dengue fever deaths in the country to 302 so far this year. The data also showed that the total number of confirmed dengue fever cases in Bangladesh this year has reached 74,992. Dengue fever is an acute infectious disease caused by the dengue virus, mainly transmitted by mosquitoes, and is prevalent in tropical and subtropical regions. Typical symptoms include persistent fever, headache, muscle pain, joint pain, etc., and in severe cases, it can be fatal.
