American automatic data processing company ADP: Last month, American employment rebounded from two months of sluggishness, but the rebound was not widespread. Growth was led by education and healthcare, trade, transportation, and utilities. Employers continued to lay off workers in professional business services, information, leisure, and hospitality industries for the third consecutive month. The year-on-year wage growth rate in October remained flat compared to the previous month, with a 4.5% retention rate and a 6.7% turnover rate.
