The Office of the Leading Group for Employment Promotion and Labor Protection of the State Council issued a notice to launch the Winter Action to Address Wage Arrears in 2025.

According to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, in order to effectively ensure the payment of wages to migrant workers at the end of the year and the beginning of the new year, the Office of the Leading Group for Employment Promotion and Labor Protection of the State Council recently issued a notice to carry out the Winter Action to Address Wage Arrears nationwide from November 1, 2025 to the Chinese New Year in 2026. The notice specifies that the Winter Action will focus on key industries, enhance hazard identification, resolve conflicts, emergency response and root cause treatment, comprehensively rectify wage arrears behaviors, and effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of migrant workers.
