The world's first deep-sea intelligent fishing aquaculture workboat has arrived in Zhanjiang and is ready for delivery and use.

Today, under the escort of Zhanjiang Maritime Bureau, the world's first deep-sea intelligent fishery aquaculture ship "Zhanjiang Bay No. 1" sailed into Zhanjiang Merchants International Cruise Port and safely berthed. This "steel giant whale" called the "sea mobile pasture", after months of trial sailing and debugging, finally returned to Zhanjiang, ready to embark on a new journey of deep sea aquaculture. As a "national weapon" of China's marine fishery equipment, "Zhanjiang Bay No. 1" is the world's first deep-sea intelligent fishery aquaculture ship independently developed by Zhanjiang Bay Laboratory. Its internal structure is a water-permeable floating dynamic positioning farming mode. The ship has a total length of 154 meters, a width of 44 meters, a farming water capacity of 80,000 cubic meters, equivalent to the amount of water in 32 standard swimming pools, and can simultaneously cultivate multiple fish species. It integrates "semi-submersible aquaculture, floating dynamic positioning, autonomous navigation and avoiding typhoons, green energy supply, comfortable living for personnel, and intelligent system functions" into one, filling multiple gaps in deep-sea intelligent aquaculture.
