The Eighth Hongqiao International Economic Forum held a sub-forum on "Empowering Industrial Upgrading with International Standards of Artificial Intelligence".

On November 5th, the sub-forum "International Standards Empowering Industry Upgrading in Artificial Intelligence" of the 8th Hongqiao International Economic Forum was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center. Shu Wei, Deputy Director of the State Administration for Market Regulation, and Chen Jie, Deputy Mayor of Shanghai, attended the sub-forum and delivered speeches. At the sub-forum, Javier Garcia, Vice President of the International Organization for Standardization, Gilles Soneet, Deputy Secretary General of the International Electrotechnical Commission, Guo Xu, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Louisa, former Director General of the European Telecommunication Standards Institute, as well as leaders of well-known domestic and foreign companies such as Huawei, Siemens, ZTE, OPPO, gave speeches and conducted panel discussions on the theme of "International Standards Empowering Industry Upgrading in Artificial Intelligence". The sub-forum also released three achievements, including the foreign version of the national standard "Artificial Intelligence Large Model", the international cooperation initiative on artificial intelligence standards, and the English version of the research report on ethical and review evaluation of artificial intelligence technology in 2025.
