120 companies participated in negotiations for the 2025 drug catalogue.

According to the latest news from the National Medical Insurance Administration, the negotiation bidding for the national basic medical insurance drug list and the price negotiation for innovative drugs in commercial insurance will be conducted from October 30 to November 3, 2025. A total of 120 domestic and foreign enterprises participated on site, with 127 drugs outside the drug list participating in the negotiation bidding for the basic medical insurance drug list, and 24 drugs participating in the price negotiation for innovative drugs in commercial insurance. Unlike previous years, this year's adjustments to the list also include the establishment of a commercial insurance innovative drug list, which will be carried out simultaneously with the basic medical insurance list-related work. The National Medical Insurance Administration stated that after the completion of the relevant technical, administrative, and legal procedures, the new version of the basic medical insurance drug list and the first edition of the commercial insurance innovative drug list are scheduled to be simultaneously released online and offline in Guangzhou on the first weekend of December, and will officially be implemented starting on January 1, 2026.
