State Council Tariff Committee: Starting from 13:01 on November 10th, certain additional tariffs imposed on the United States will be suspended and adjusted.

According to the Zhtng Finance and Economics APP, on November 5th, the State Council Customs Tariff Commission issued announcements regarding the suspension of the implementation of additional tariffs on some imported goods from the United States, as well as adjustments to the additional tariffs on imported goods from the United States. In order to implement the consensus reached in the China-US economic and trade negotiations, in accordance with the laws and regulations such as the Customs Law of the People's Republic of China, the Customs Law of the People's Republic of China, and the Foreign Trade Law of the People's Republic of China, as well as the basic principles of international law, approved by the State Council, the additional tariffs specified in the "State Council Customs Tariff Commission Announcement on the Addition of Additional Tariffs on Some Imported Goods from the United States" (Tax Committee Announcement No. 2 of 2025) will be suspended from 1:01 pm on November 10, 2025. The additional tariffs specified in the "State Council Customs Tariff Commission Announcement on the Addition of Additional Tariffs on Imported Goods from the United States" (Tax Committee Announcement No. 4 of 2025) will be adjusted to continue suspending the 24% tariff rate on the US for one year, while maintaining a 10% tariff rate on the US.
