In October 2025, the Chinese warehousing index was 50.6%, up 1 percentage point from the previous month.

On November 5, the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing and China Merchants Development Co., Ltd. released the China Warehousing Index for October 2025, which was 50.6%, up 1 percentage point from the previous month. In terms of sub-indices, compared to the previous month, the business volume index, facility utilization index, end-of-period inventory index, and average inventory turnover index all increased, with increases ranging from 0.6 to 3.8 percentage points; the employee index and business activity expectations index decreased, with decreases of 0.4 and 3.4 percentage points respectively. The business volume index was 52.7%, up 2.2 percentage points from the previous month. In terms of different types of products, the business volume index for chemical products, coal, agricultural and sideline products, and cotton and linen was higher than 50%, while the business volume index for steel, pharmaceuticals, and other products was lower than 50%.
