Typhoon yellow warning: "Seagull" has moved into the South China Sea this morning, with the potential to reach a strong typhoon level.
The China Meteorological Administration issued a yellow typhoon warning at 06:00 on November 5th: Typhoon "Haima", the 25th typhoon of this year, has moved into the South China Sea this morning. At 5 o'clock in the morning, its center was located in the southeast sea area of Vietnam's Quang Ngai Province, about 1130 kilometers east-southeast of the city of GuiRen, at a latitude of 11.5 degrees north and a longitude of 119.4 degrees east. The maximum wind force near the center is level 13, and the minimum central pressure is 960 hPa. The radius of the seven-level wind circle is 250-330 kilometers, the radius of the ten-level wind circle is 120-150 kilometers, and the radius of the twelve-level wind circle is 50 kilometers. It is expected that "Haima" will move west-northwestward at a speed of 20-25 kilometers per hour, gradually increasing in intensity, reaching the strength of a severe typhoon at its peak. It is expected to make landfall along the central coast of Vietnam on the night of the 6th and then gradually weaken.
