Greece calls on the international community to support the return of the Parthenon Temple stone sculptures to Athens.

On November 4th local time, the Greek Ministry of Culture issued a statement saying that Greek Culture Minister Lina Mendoni reiterated at the UNESCO conference in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, that the Greek government is committed to the return of the Parthenon sculptures from the Acropolis. Mendoni said that Greece firmly believes that the Parthenon sculptures will definitely return to their birthplace - Athens. As a symbol of Western civilization, the Parthenon temple must restore its integrity. The Greek government calls on all member states of UNESCO to support Greece's national goal.
