Journalists have learned from the National Bureau of Statistics that the second "Standard Week" event of the National Standardization Technical Committee for Data in 2025 was held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. The relevant person in charge of the National Data Standardization Committee stated that China is continuing to accelerate the construction of data standardization. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, over 120 national standards in the field of data have been developed and released. Liu Liehong, director of the National Bureau of Statistics, stated at the event that since the establishment of the National Data Standardization Committee, preliminary results have been achieved in the construction of the data standardization work system and the development of data standards. In the future, the National Data Standardization Committee will focus on improving the data standardization work mechanism at multiple levels, optimizing the supply of standards in the data field through multiple channels, strengthening data standard validation and implementation from multiple dimensions, and deepening international cooperation in the field of data standards from various perspectives.
