More than a hundred dead seals were found along the coast of the Caspian Sea in Kazakhstan.

On November 4th, the Ministry of Ecology of Mangystau Province in Kazakhstan reported that 112 carcasses of Caspian seals were found during monitoring of the coastline from the Asan village to the Baityno peninsula in the Tukpakalaqan area. Experts from the Ministry of Ecology have collected water samples from the Caspian Sea at the site to determine the cause of the mass deaths.
