Hong Kong stocks surged | Chip stocks rise in early trading with Shanghai Huahong Semiconductor (01347.HK) up over 3% and Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (00981.HK) up over 2%

According to the China Finance APP, chip stocks rose in early trading. As of the time of writing, Hua Hong Semiconductor (01347.HK) rose 3.64% to 79.75 Hong Kong dollars; Shanghai Fudan (01385) rose 2.7% to 43.42 Hong Kong dollars; and SMIC (00981) rose 2.61% to 74.75 Hong Kong dollars.
