Recently, a company in Qingdao, Shandong province reported to the police station that their client manager, named Li, had made unauthorized changes to a certain important data on the company's data management platform before leaving the company, resulting in serious impacts on the company's operations. After investigation by the public security organs, it was found that the employee Li had maliciously altered certain data stored on the company's platform due to dissatisfaction with a salary reduction, which constitutes illegal behavior prohibited by laws and regulations, rather than a mere economic dispute. The public security organs have opened a case to investigate Li's illegal actions. Based on the suspect's confession, electronic data inspection records, user login and operation logs, as well as third-party evaluation of system function data, the local public security bureau has imposed a penalty on Li in accordance with the law.
