Fifteen FivePointing Out Six Major Future Industries

From October 20 to 23, the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China deliberated and passed the "Suggestions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Formulating the Fifteenth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development". The "Suggestions" clearly stated that it is necessary to explore diverse technological routes and business models, promote quantum technology, bio-manufacturing, hydrogen and nuclear fusion energy, brain-machine interfaces, embodied intelligence, and the sixth generation of mobile communications to become new economic growth points. The six future industries named in the "Suggestions" all belong to the real economy, fully reflecting our consistent and clear direction of "building a modern industrial system and consolidating and strengthening the foundation of the real economy."
