As we enter the fourth quarter, commercial banks have started intensively disposing of non-performing assets. Various types of banks including Bohai Bank, Guangzhou Rural Commercial Bank, Agricultural Bank of China Anhui Branch, Ping An Bank, Jiangsu Jingjiang Rural Commercial Bank, and Lanzhou Rural Commercial Bank have issued notices for the transfer of non-performing loans, involving funds concentrated in categories such as personal housing loans, personal consumption loans, and business loans, with amounts reaching billions of yuan. In response to this, industry experts have stated that bulk transfer of non-performing loans as a routine measure will steadily progress in an open and transparent market-based bidding mechanism for a period of time. In the future, it is necessary to improve market-based pricing mechanisms, promote diversification of disposal channels, and strengthen technological empowerment.
