Nvidia's stock price rose 1.9% in pre-market trading on Monday, after Microsoft announced that it had obtained approval from US authorities to export Nvidia chips to the United Arab Emirates. Microsoft stated, "During the Trump administration, Microsoft is the first company this year to receive an export license from the US Department of Commerce to ship GPUs to the UAE. These licenses allow us to export an additional volume equivalent to 60,400 A100 chips, involving Nvidia's more advanced GB300 GPU."
