Our country has launched the 8.6th generation OLED mass production line high-end equipment, achieving a new breakthrough in display equipment.

Reporters learned at the 2025 World Display Industry Innovation and Development Conference today that three high-end equipment used in the mass production line of 8.6th generation large OLED screens were officially launched in Chengdu, marking a new breakthrough in China's display equipment field. Currently, OLED displays are expanding from mobile phones to large screens in applications such as computers and in-vehicle devices. The three high-end equipment released this time are a multi-application inkjet thin film deposition platform, the first domestically produced large piece bonding equipment, and the first domestically produced EHD dispensing equipment, all used in the mass production line of 8.6th generation large OLED screens. Hu Chunming, Executive Vice Secretary General of the LCD Branch of China Optical and Optoelectronic Industry Association, said that the introduction of these high-end domestically produced display equipment will help China achieve mass production of new display products with larger sizes, higher efficiency, and lower costs, marking a new stage in the localization and high-end development of China's display industry manufacturing equipment. The "China New Display Industry High-Quality Development Index" released by the Chinese Academy of Electronic Information Industry Development at the conference shows that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, China's new display industry chain has been comprehensively upgraded from the previous point-to-point mode to a chain mode, promoting significant growth in upstream materials and equipment for new displays.
