Today, the National Data Standardization Technical Committee held the "Standard Week" event in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. Officials from the National Bureau of Statistics and the State Administration for Market Regulation stated that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, significant progress has been made in the construction of China's data standard system, helping to accelerate the development of the digital economy. Officials introduced that as the first country in the world to classify data as a factor of production, China has accelerated the development of data standardization. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, more than 120 national standards in the field of data have been developed and released, with wide applications in key areas such as artificial intelligence, new infrastructure, and data trading and circulation, empowering industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, and transportation.
