Handan City, Hebei Province, issues an orange alert for heavy pollution weather and initiates a level II emergency response.

According to the joint consultation of Hebei Provincial Ecological Environment Emergency and Heavy Pollution Weather Warning Center, China Environmental Monitoring Station, and Provincial Meteorological Disaster Prevention and Environmental Meteorology Center, starting from November 3rd, the atmospheric diffusion conditions in Handan City deteriorated, with pollutants continuously accumulating and transmitting, which may lead to a heavy pollution process. The City's Heavy Pollution Weather Emergency Command decided to activate the Level II emergency response for heavy pollution weather starting from 6:00 pm on November 3rd, 2025. While ensuring the safety of production and livelihood, the city will strictly implement various emergency reduction measures in accordance with the requirements of emergency reduction. The lifting time will be notified separately based on the consultation and assessment results.
