Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation issued the "Guidelines for Enhancing the Digital Management Capability of Certification Bodies" by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration. The guidelines clearly state that by 2025, industry standards will be established for the "Certification Body Digital Management Technology Guide," guiding the industry to define the work path and direction for digital management. It is planned to promote the comprehensive implementation and application of the industry standards for the "Certification Body Digital Management Technology Guide" by 2029, with more than 30 certification bodies possessing advanced and reliable digital infrastructure, fully utilizing digital tools such as data analysis and processing to serve innovation in certification business practices and demonstrate the benchmark role of digital management capabilities. The guidelines emphasize the strengthening of the construction of digital management platforms that cover the entire certification process, the establishment of digital management work systems to standardize certification processes, and the improvement of the quality of basic certification data. They also highlight the empowerment of digital management and encourage certification bodies to develop and use digital support tools in the areas of certification audit management, certification risk management, and credit information of certified organizations. Furthermore, the guidelines call for accelerating the construction of digital infrastructure, enhancing network and data security capabilities, and strengthening the professional talent team. It is required to strengthen organizational leadership and coordination, continuously increase the input of resources and elements, directly rely on the traceability data of certification bodies in administrative supervision, and reduce the provision of evidential materials. The guidelines also urge the sharing of advanced experiences and achievements, guiding the whole industry to accelerate the improvement of digital management levels.
