During the interactive session with guests, Li Shaosong, CEO of Wens Group, expressed his views on pig production capacity regulation. Li Shaosong believes that the core challenge facing the industry at present is the profit pressure brought about by oversupply. "The deep losses caused by overcapacity are unsustainable for many industry players. To address this situation, one is to strictly control the increase in production capacity, ensuring a balance and preventing new construction to control the increase in production capacity, in order to achieve full capacity utilization. The second is to eliminate inefficient production capacity, especially in restricted breeding areas, non-compliant with environmental standards, and incomplete documentation, these should be phased out."
