In 2026, the open recruitment of civilian personnel in the military will be fully launched.

In order to attract outstanding talents from all sectors of society to serve in the construction of the military, the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission recently deployed the open recruitment of civilian personnel for the military in 2026. Candidates can register online on the military talent website from 8:00 on November 3, 2025 to 18:00 on November 9, 2025. The unified written test is scheduled to be held in major cities nationwide on December 14, 2025. According to the plan, the approval and employment process will begin in May 2026. This open recruitment aims to accelerate the high-quality development of the civilian personnel in the military, strengthen control of the political aspects, scientifically set position requirements, continuously optimize processes, and improve the recruitment efficiency comprehensively. The department responsible for civilian personnel under the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission will work together with relevant departments to maintain a good examination order, create a sunshine, fair, standardized and orderly examination environment.
