The tourism deficit in Taiwan reached 8.05 million people in the first nine months, hitting a record high.

According to statistics from Taiwan's tourism department, in the first three quarters of this year, the number of foreign tourists visiting Taiwan was approximately 6.05 million, while the number of Taiwanese traveling abroad was about 14.1 million, creating a deficit of 8.05 million person-times, reaching a historical high.
