Ding Xexiang, member of the Politburo Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, co-chaired the 12th meeting of the China-Russia Investment Cooperation Committee with Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Manturov in Beijing on the 1st. Ding Xexiang stated that China is willing to work with Russia to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of investment cooperation under the strategic guidance of the two countries' leaders, constantly enrich the connotation of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Russia in the new era, and better promote the well-being of the two peoples. Ding Xexiang fully affirmed the progress and achievements of China-Russia investment cooperation over the past year and proposed four suggestions for further deepening cooperation between the two sides. Firstly, highlight key areas, strengthen leading demonstrations, and strive to achieve more pragmatic results. Secondly, closely communicate and cooperate, make good use of complementary advantages, and promote deep and solid investment cooperation. Thirdly, strengthen supply and demand docking, tap the potential of cooperation, and actively expand new investment areas. Fourthly, continue to expand opening up, optimize the business environment, and continuously enhance the confidence of enterprise cooperation.
