Zhitong Finance and Economics APP learned that on October 31, the Hang Seng Index Company announced that the Hang Seng Information Technology Industry Index will be renamed as the Hang Seng Semiconductor Industry Theme Index, and its calculation method will also be updated. The renaming of the index and related changes in constituent stocks will take effect on Friday, November 7, 2025.
