In the third quarter of 2025, Macau's GDP grew by 8.0% year-on-year.

According to the Economic Intelligence APP, data from the Statistics and Census Bureau of Macau shows that with the booming summer tourism season and the continuous positive development trend of the tourism industry in Macau, the number of visitors to Macau in the third quarter of this year has seen a significant increase, driving service exports to further rise. Coupled with steady growth in local private consumption, the overall economy of Macau has continued to grow steadily. The preliminary estimate of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the third quarter of 2025 is 103.86 billion Macau Patacas, a substantial increase of 8.0% compared to the same period last year, with the overall economic scale recovering to 92.6% of the same period in 2019.
