Hong Kong Monetary Authority and Cyberport co-host GenA.I. seminar, Eddie Yue: Hopes A.I. can bring more innovative use cases for banks

According to the Economic Digest App, on October 31, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and Hong Kong Cyberport jointly hosted a "Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenA.I.) Seminar". The Monetary Authority released the "First Phase GenA.I. Sandbox Report", which pointed out that GenA.I. technology has huge potential in enhancing risk management, fraud prevention, and customer experience, with broad application prospects. Eddie Yue, Chief Executive of the Monetary Authority, expressed his expectation for the second phase of the sandbox program to further promote the responsible application of GenA.I. and lay a solid foundation for the future development of banking services.
