Ansemic launches vertical gallium nitride power semiconductors.

On October 31, Enmatrix announced the launch of vertical gallium nitride power semiconductors. According to the introduction, for ultra-high voltage devices, Enmatrix's vertical gallium nitride uses GaN-on-GaN technology, allowing current to flow vertically through the chip instead of laterally along the surface. This solution reduces energy loss and heat, reducing losses by nearly 50%. Currently, Enmatrix is providing 700V and 1200V device samples to early customers.
