In October, A-share market closed at the end of the month with all three major indexes falling today. As of the close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell by 0.81%, with a cumulative increase of 1.85% in October, briefly reaching the 4000 point mark. The Shenzhen Component Index fell by 1.14%, with a cumulative decrease of 1.1% in October. The Growth Enterprise Index fell by 2.31%, with a cumulative decrease of 1.56% in October. The BeiGene 50 Index rose by 1.89%, with a cumulative increase of 3.54% in October. The total turnover of the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets reached 2.3498 trillion yuan for the whole day, a decrease of 114.5 billion yuan compared to the previous day. Over 3700 stocks in the entire market rose against the trend. In terms of sectors, innovative drugs, AI data, duty-free shops, film and television companies, liquor, and battery sectors were among the top gainers; while insurance, cultivated diamonds, storage chips, CPO, rare earth permanent magnets, and controllable nuclear fusion sectors were among the top losers. On the market, stocks related to innovative drugs surged, with multiple stocks such as Sanofi China National Healthy People, Shu Tai Shen, Qisheng Pharmaceutical, Lianhuan Pharmaceutical, and Ang Lee Kang reaching their daily limit up. AI data and concept stocks from companies like Sora in AI application direction oscillated upwards, with Fushi Holdings, 360 Group, and Orad sealing the limit up. The battery sector continued to be active, with Tianji Stock rising for 2 consecutive days and Enjue Stock reaching the limit up. In addition, sectors such as liquor, film and television companies, and duty-free shops experienced rotation during the trading session. On the other hand, stocks related to computing power hardware saw multiple corrections, with Shenghong Technology falling by more than 10% at one point, and Tianfutong Communication, Industrial Wealth Shareholding, Xinyisheng, and Zhongji Xuchuang leading the decline. The storage chip sector also experienced a pullback, with Laminate Technology, Yunhan Xincheng, Jiangbolong, Tuojing Technology, and Shennan Circuit leading the decline.
