Tiankang Biotech stated in a conference call on October 30th that the company strictly follows national production capacity control policies. The company's breeding sows have been stable at around 140,000 for the past two years. In accordance with the requirement to reduce breeding sows by 3%, approximately 4,000 sows need to be reduced, and the company will further eliminate inefficient production capacity as required. The original target for this year's production was 3.5 million to 4 million, but it is currently estimated that the total annual production will be approximately 3.3 million heads.
