On October 31, Li Chao, Deputy Director of the Policy Research Office of the National Development and Reform Commission, stated at a press conference that currently, Xiong'an New Area is speeding up construction and the relocation of non-capital functions from Beijing is making progress. The next step is for the National Development and Reform Commission to continue to improve the support policies for relocation. Previously, a series of policy measures in education, healthcare, social security, housing, and other areas have been introduced, and these measures are continuously yielding results. For example, in terms of medical insurance, the medical insurance in Xiong'an is equivalent to the combined catalog of Beijing and Hebei, which means that relocated individuals can directly use Beijing's medical insurance for healthcare in Xiong'an. In the future, the National Development and Reform Commission will also promote more areas and issues to achieve "integration of Beijing and Xiong'an."
