At 11:12 Beijing time, it hit a new daily low before continuing to rise. After hitting a daily high at 21:08, it continued to fluctuate at a high level. The euro rose by 0.66% against the Japanese yen, to 178.35 yen; the pound rose by 0.61%, to 202.738 yen.
