Rui Wind New Energy (00527.HK): Rui Wind Energy Storage Station Phase II successfully selected for Hebei pilot project list.

Wisdom Finance APP News, Ruifeng New Energy (00527.HK) announced that the capacity of a grid-side independent energy storage power station invested and constructed by its subsidiary Hebei Ruifeng Yunlian Digital New Energy Co., Ltd. (Ruifeng Yunlian) is 300 megawatts/1.2 gigawatt-hours. The Phase I project will commence construction in September 2024 and achieve full capacity grid connection on January 22, 2025. It is currently participating in long-term electricity trading and has entered the market operation stage. The Phase I project of Ruifeng Energy Storage Station adopts lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage technology and is equipped with a four-hour long-term energy storage system, significantly enhancing the peak-shaving and valley-filling capabilities of the power grid in northern Hebei and emergency backup capacity. As the first grid-side independent energy storage power station project connected to the northern Hebei power grid, it is also the largest grid-side independent energy storage power station project in terms of market trading scale in North China. After the official operation of Ruifeng Energy Storage Station Phase I, it has achieved good economic benefits by participating in the northern Hebei power trading platform, providing solid support for the expansion and upgrade of the Phase II project.
