Floods in central Vietnam have killed 14 people and submerged 90 villages.

According to statistics from the Vietnamese government, as of October 30th, flooding in central Vietnam has resulted in 14 deaths and 8 missing persons. In the provinces of Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Tri, more than 128,000 households in 90 communes have been flooded. Currently, local authorities have evacuated nearly 7,900 households, about 26,000 people, and the railway department has also suspended train services passing through the affected areas.
