At 11:00 on October 28, our country's independently designed and built 174,000 cubic meter LNG carrier "Green Energy Star" set sail from the Yancheng Port Coastal Port Area to Singapore. The vessel was named and delivered at Changxing Island in Shanghai, and was included in the China National Offshore Oil Corporation's "Green Energy" fleet, marking a new milestone in the scale and technological level of our country's independent LNG fleet. This vessel, known as the "super cold storage on the sea", is the third ship in the largest LNG carrier construction project in China the China National Offshore Oil Corporation's mid-to-long-term FOB resource supporting LNG carrier project. It has a total length of 299 meters, a deck area equivalent to 3 standard football fields, carries 4 "super cold storage" units at -162, and can carry 174,000 cubic meters of liquefied natural gas, which can meet the gas needs of 290,000 households for a year.
