CMS (00867) rose over 4%, up 4.24% as of press time to HK$10.57, with turnover of HK$10.9292 million.
On the news front, on November 4, CMS issued an announcement that its subsidiary Rxilient Medical obtained approval from the Singapore Health Sciences Authority (HSA) on November 3, 2026 for the new drug application (NDA) of ruxolitinib phosphate cream (the "Product" or "Lumirix") for the vitiligo indication. The product is used for the treatment of non-segmental vitiligo with facial involvement in adolescent and adult patients aged 12 and above. It is Singapore's first and only topical prescription drug that directly targets the pathophysiological mechanism of vitiligo, addressing long-term unmet clinical needs.
This approval fills the gap in Singapore's vitiligo treatment landscape. In addition to Singapore, Rxilient Medical has to date driven the official launch of sales of Lumirix (vitiligo indication) in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan of China. It is reported that CMS launched its "industry internationalization" strategy in 2022, using Singapore as the business hub for emerging markets to build a highly efficient, synergistic value loop across the entire industry chain of "research, production, and sales."
