On Wednesday, large-cap tech stocks rose broadly. Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN.US) gained more than 7%, Microsoft Corporation (MSFT.US) rose more than 6%, Apple Inc. (AAPL.US) climbed nearly 6%, Alphabet Inc. Class C (GOOGL.US) rose 4%, and Meta (META.US) gained more than 1%. The three major U.S. stock indexes all rallied sharply. As of press time, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 2.12%, the Nasdaq was up 2.14%, and the S&P 500 was up 1.67%.
