On November 3, the 2026 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit opened in Wuzhen, Zhejiang. With the theme "Open Source and Openness, Co-building and Sharing Joining Hands to Build a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace," the summit brought together representatives from governments, international organizations, enterprises, and academic experts from around the world in Wuzhen to focus on open-source AI and engage in multi-dimensional dialogue on innovative development, security governance, cultural exchange, and international cooperation. Shen Peng, founder and CEO of Waterdrop, Inc. ADR Class A (WDH.US), was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the Wuzhen Summit. Meanwhile, Waterdrop, Inc. ADR Class A showcased its "Waterdrop, Inc. ADR Class A Shuishou AI" under the theme "AI Reshaping a New Ecosystem for Health Protection" at the "Light of the Internet" Expo, demonstrating innovative applications in insurance protection and pharmaceutical and health scenarios, including intelligent customer service, intelligent underwriting, product innovation, and digital recruitment. Speaking to media at the Wuzhen Summit, Shen Peng said, "There has been a very big change this year. People are no longer as concerned about the AI concept itself, but rather about how internet AI can be better implemented in industries, penetrate more deeply into sectors, and enable real industry practitioners and the general public to benefit from it." Shen Peng said China's internet has moved from the stage of "connection efficiency" into the stage of "intelligent inclusiveness." Over the past decade, China's internet has completed a key leap from making information flow to bringing AI capabilities down to the real-life scenarios of ordinary people. Waterdrop, Inc. ADR Class A itself is a microcosm of this change. When it started ten years ago, the first thing it did was use the internet to connect requests for help; today, ten years later, Waterdrop, Inc. ADR Class A is using AI to turn protection capabilities into services that ordinary people can access. At the "Light of the Internet" Expo, the "Waterdrop, Inc. ADR Class A Shuishou Large Model," independently developed by Waterdrop, Inc. ADR Class A, received the "New Light" product award, becoming one of the most representative AI implementation achievements in the insurance and health protection track at this year's summit. In addition, Shen Peng will share AI inclusive protection practices at the Digital Intelligence Health Forum of the Wuzhen Summit.
