The company's core investigational drug, RTN-001, is a next-generation phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) inhibitor primarily targeting patients with inadequately controlled blood pressure and resistant hypertension, and is currently undergoing Phase IIb clinical trials. The drug helps dilate blood vessels and lower blood pressure by enhancing nitric oxide signaling in blood vessels, and its exclusive global development license comes from French pharmaceutical giant Sanofi (SNY.US).
