The National Energy Administration stated in a document that, based on statistical analysis of 62,700 highway charging facilities (guns) included in the national charging facility monitoring service platform, from 0:00 on October 1 to 24:00 on October 7, the total number of charging sessions for new energy vehicles on China's highways was 6.711 million, the charging volume reached 163 million kWh, and the average daily charging volume was 23.2566 million kWh, with the average daily charging volume increasing by 51.42% year-on-year.
The National Energy Administration issued a statement saying that with the continued growth in the number of new energy vehicles, the proportion of green travel by the public during holidays has continued to rise. The National Energy Administration guided localities to refine and improve charging support plans in advance, organized relevant parties to strengthen monitoring through information platforms, and made arrangements for emergency dispatch, effectively ensuring the charging needs of large-scale new energy vehicle travel during this year's National Day holiday.
