HONOR MATRIX (08186) announced that, in order to continuously enhance shareholder returns, the Group has identified potential business opportunities related to electric vehicle charging equipment. The Group intends to sell equipment to property owners and provide supporting installation and maintenance services, as well as install equipment in private parking lots to provide charging services for electric vehicle owners. As of the date of this announcement, the Group has been in discussions with equipment suppliers, property owners, and property management companies, but has not entered into any binding agreement.
HONOR MATRIX (08186) announced that, in order to continuously enhance shareholder returns, the Group has identified potential business opportunities related to electric vehicle charging equipment. The Group intends to sell equipment to property owners and provide accompanying installation and maintenance services, as well as install equipment in private car parks to provide charging services for electric vehicle owners. As at the date of this announcement, the Group has been in discussions with equipment suppliers, property owners and property management companies, but has not entered into any binding agreement. The Group is principally engaged in the sale of goods business (including household products, planting products and decorative items) and the provision of consultancy services business, and now plans to expand its product portfolio to cover equipment and provide related services. The Hong Kong government is actively promoting the transition from traditional petrol and diesel vehicles to electric vehicles as a core strategy to achieve zero vehicle emissions and carbon neutrality by 2050. It is expected that the use of electric vehicles will gradually increase, and the demand for equipment will rise accordingly. The Board considers that the market in this sector has great potential.
