The Group is a fintech investment platform that, through its wholly-owned subsidiaries (licensed corporations permitted to carry on Type 1, Type 4, Type 6 and Type 9 regulated activities under the Securities and Futures Ordinance), provides investment banking, securities brokerage, asset management and other related services. The approval of the open-ended fund company and its two sub-funds represents a strategic extension of the Group's existing licensed businesses and can expand synergies with the Group's existing brokerage and asset management capabilities. This move will further expand the Group's product offerings in its asset management business to include SFC-authorized funds offered to the public, and consolidate the Group's overall financial services ecosystem.
