On September 28, HKD interbank rates rose broadly, with the one-month rate linked to mortgages reported at 3.01750%, up 2.702 basis points; the three-month rate, which reflects banks' funding costs, was reported at 3.23435%, up 0.096 basis points.
The overnight rate was reported at 2.70000%, down 2.786 basis points; the one-week rate rose 5.477 basis points to 3.25548%, while the two-week rate rose 0.810 basis points to 3.08649%. The two-month rate rose 1.208 basis points to 3.13268%.
In terms of longer tenors, the six-month rate rose 1.541 basis points to 3.52964%, while the one-year rate rose 0.607 basis points to 3.98595%.
