Eli Lilly (LLY.US)'s Class 5.1 new drug "Selpercatinib Tablets" has been approved for marketing in China.
On September 18, the NMPA official website showed that Eli Lilly and Company's (LLY.US) Class 5.1 new drug "Selpercatinib Tablets" was approved for marketing in China. Public information shows that this is the first time the tablet formulation of Selpercatinib has been approved in China. Selpercatinib is a first-in-class, highly selective and potent small molecule RET inhibitor with central nervous system (CNS) activity that can inhibit multiple RET alterations. The drug is the world's first approved highly selective RET inhibitor, which works by inhibiting the activity of abnormal RET kinase.
