Annie Tse Yau On-yee Re-elected as Chairman of the Hong Kong Retail Management Association, Will Fully Support Government Policies Across All Areas
Annie Tse Yau On-yee, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Tse Sui Luen Jewellery (Hong Kong) Limited, was re-elected as Chairman of the Association.
The Hong Kong Retail Management Association (HKRMA) issued a press release today stating that its 43rd Annual General Meeting was successfully held yesterday morning (September 17), during which the new Executive Committee members for the 20262028 term were elected. The Executive Committee subsequently held its first meeting of the new term, at which Annie Tse Yau On-yee, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TSE SUI LUEN Jewellery (Hong Kong) Limited, was re-elected as Chairman of the Association.
Annie Tse Yau On-yee expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the support and trust of the Association's members, the Board of Directors, and the Executive Committee members. She stated that in her upcoming term, she will continue to lead the industry in further strengthening collaboration with the Government and stakeholders from all sectors, sparing no effort to help the retail industry find new directions and explore new opportunities amid the current environment.
She noted that the Chief Executive, John Lee Ka-chiu, delivered the First Five-Year Plan for the Economic and Social Development of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the new Policy Address on September 16, setting out a clear and well-defined strategic direction for future development. The Association warmly welcomes and supports this. The new Executive Committee will strive to unite the industry and fully support the Government's policies across all areas, ensuring that the retail sector can seize the golden opportunity for upgrading and transformation within the Government's broader development blueprint.
As the Northern Metropolis enters a critical phase of advancement, it serves as a key strategic platform for Hong Kong to proactively align with the National 15th Five-Year Plan and deeply integrate into the development of the Greater Bay Area. To seize the business opportunities presented by the Northern Metropolis, the Association immediately held a luncheon exchange following the Annual General Meeting. Looking ahead, HKRMA will continue to serve as a close bridge between the industry and the Government, guiding the industry to precisely align with government policies, helping the industry fully grasp market opportunities, and creating a new retail landscape. At the same time, the Association will further strengthen cross-sector collaboration and deepen ties with industries such as wholesale and retail, culture, sports, and tourism. The Association hopes to pool resources and cross-sector strengths from all parties to jointly stimulate market consumption momentum and further burnish Hong Kong's reputation as a world-class retail hub.
