On September 16, HKD interbank rates rose broadly, with the one-month rate linked to mortgage loans quoted at 2.95000%, up 3.744 basis points; the three-month rate, which reflects banks' funding costs, was quoted at 3.12488%, up 2.232 basis points. The overnight rate was quoted at 2.19762%, down 5.309 basis points; the one-week rate rose 1.488 basis points to 2.44167%, while the two-week rate rose 12.298 basis points to 2.65119%. The two-month rate rose 2.893 basis points to 3.02893%. For longer tenors, the six-month rate rose 3.720 basis points to 3.35000%, while the one-year rate rose 1.161 basis points to 3.75000%.
