On September 15, HKD interbank rates rose broadly, with the one-month rate, which is linked to mortgage loans, reported at 2.91256%, up 2.369 basis points; the three-month rate, which reflects banks' funding costs, was reported at 3.10256%, up 2.780 basis points. The overnight rate was reported at 2.25071%, down 3.679 basis points; the one-week rate fell 0.071 basis points to 2.42679%, while the two-week rate rose 0.071 basis points to 2.52821%. The two-month rate rose 2.036 basis points to 3.00000%. In terms of longer tenors, the six-month rate rose 3.387 basis points to 3.31280%, while the one-year rate rose 7.250 basis points to 3.73839%.
